The Future of Space Business: Startups or Billionaires?

SpaceX founder Elon Musk believes he can send people to Mars by 2024 and colonize the Red Planet in the 2030s. If true, how will we get there? Can entrepreneurs actually make money in space? Or will governments still play a major contribution? What are the other space industries that could thrive until then? Two former astronauts, a former NASA expert turned entrepreneur, the Japan head of a European space components manufacturer, and a "Space Evangelist" join us to discuss what is happening now, what may happen next, and, perhaps most importantly, who will be in the lead in controlling the new space business industry.

Hidetaka Aoki - Space Business Evangelist, Global Brain Corporation.

Chris Blackerby - COO, ASTROSCALE -Guy Bonaud, Representative Director, SAFRAN Helicopter Engines Japan.

Daniel Tani - Faculty, The American School in Japan, Former Astronaut, NASA.

Moderator: Naoko Yamazaki, Astronaut, Fly to the Future.
