Michael Andres Luévano is originally from Los Angeles California and has been in Asia for about 14 years producing and directing various sporting and entertainment events. He began his career as tennis professional, then a coach, Michael climbed his way into the coveted status of becoming and ATP tournament director in 1993. His Asian chapter began in HK in 1994, as the tournament director for the Salem Open followed by a move to Shanghai in 1998 to establish and lead a new tennis identity in China. Michael has prompted such international icon entertainment acts such as The Rolling Stones, sir Elton John and Tiesto. In 2005, he was awarded the Magnolia Awarded by the Shanghai Government for his contribution to the fields of Sports & Culture.

Before coming to China, Michael created advertising programs and sponsorships for the European Football Cup, London Olympic bid, Sony Tropfest in Sydney & “Schoolie’s Week” on the Gold Coast with Screen Media and OTN. Prior to being a facilitator of branded entertainment, Michael worked as an artist agent, founding MJ entertainment which negotiated contracts on behalf of touring artists for the Hennessey Artistry program and Anchor beer. Michael also has media advertising expertise helping launch the largest LED network China has seen which was sold to the Tulip group. Michael learnt that he was passionate about writing and entertainment as he cut his teeth as a young reporter in the sports room at Channel 9 in Sydney.
