This presentation is about adopting the reverse approach: let’s worry less about how the Internet of Things is going to impact businesses and investigate more on what kind of impact can businesses have using the Internet Of Things not only for their customers, their employees, but also for society as a whole.

Hoang Anh - Co founder of Conech - moved to Vietnam in 2010 to promote agile principles. Applied not only to software development teams, but also to whole organizations, these principles are catalyst to purposeful innovation. She started Conech in 2013 to be a social impact catalyst, by applying these principles to communities. Fablab Saigon, the first makerspace in HCMC, is the result of this work with the makers community. Hoang-Anh’s goal is to contribute to Vietnam leapfrog to the industrial revolution that digital fabrication enables, as well as to new sharing economy models, driven by a higher level of consciousness.
