To understand more about these changes and how consumers are thinking about payments, we’re pleased to present findings from this, our fourth annual Visa Consumer Payment Attitudes Survey, in the report “Rise of the Digitally Engaged Consumer”.

The latest survey is a guide to the evolving payment needs of consumers in the new digital economy in Southeast Asia. The survey was conducted among 4,000 consumers in Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam in July 2017. Consumers were asked questions across a range of topics including: going cashless; eCommerce; the on demand economy; the growth of mobile payments; mobile banking usage and QR code payments.
