Kazuhisa Tatsumi introduces to us an eco-friendly product called UMEZUMI (plum-charcoal) Crepe Paper. It is made with a combination of regular pulp and high-quality plum-seed charcoal, cutting shoe smells 99% and reusing manufacturing by-products at the same time. Hence why do they choose plum seed to carbonized and use it as the material to produce UMEZUMI? Can plum seed being used in any other field to make a good use of this industry waste? Born and raised in Osaka in 1962, Tatsumi started his first carrier at a pharmaceutical company after graduating from a college in 1984. Tatsumi joined Sanyo Paper Company Ltd. in 1994 and is now appointed at the position of Operating Officer and Director of planning operation division. He is responsible for marketing of Sanyo Paper’s new product, charcoal paper products, to the market.
