Serge Weydert has been working and living in China for the past 6 years. In this segment of the interview, Serge talks about his own experiences of successfully entering Chinese market and how china sometimes can be a challenge for foreign company. He speaks about the things that impressed him the most in the last 6 years and what made him believe in China so much. He reveals his thought about the development of China’s technology as well as China’s future for high technology product. Born and raised in Luxembourg, Serge Weydert has lived and worked in Luxembourg, Switzerland, Sweden and Germany and is now based in Shanghai, where he acts as Chief Representative for an industrial ceramics and refractories company.

After starting his career as a sales manager in Germany, Serge was chosen to set up his company’s first presence in Asia with a representative office in Shanghai. In his function as Senior Sales Manager for all Asian markets, Serge specializes in business development of high performance industrial ceramics in automotive, metallurgical and semiconductor markets.
