Xiaomi, one of China’s leading technology companies has opened its first official “Mi Store” in Ho Chi Minh City at the beginning of January. The store, is located in HCMC’s district 7 Crescent Mall and will offer multiple lifestyle and technology products that are part of Xiaomi’s “Mi Ecosystem” including Xiaomi’s Mi smartphones, the Mi Air Purifier, Mi Desk Lamp, Mi Smart Scale and the Mi Robot Vacuum.
Xiaomi is entering the Vietnamese market in cooperation with Digiworld, one of Vietnam’s top technology companies. Established in 1997, Digiworld is considered to be the leading Market Expansion Services provider in Vietnam and is the authorized distributor in Vietnam for more than 30 of the world’s leading technology brands.
Wang Xiang, the Senior Vice President of Xiaomi said, “The opening of our first authorized Mi Store in HCM City proves that we have great expectations for growth in Vietnam. Digiworld and Xiaomi signed a distribution agreement in March 2017. According to a spokesperson for Digiworld, the company views the Mi store as an immersive showcase that is designed to showcase the depth and breadth of its product range and demonstrates Xiaomi’s commitment to providing Vietnamese customers with greater accessibility to its wide array of products.
