SQFT Global Properties, one of the pioneers in overseas property marketing within the Asia-Pacific region, has announced that it will be hosting events for Myanmar buyers to promote a pre-sale for a two new high-rise condominium projects in Bangkok.
These are Chidlom projects, located on Chidlom Road with the three accessible places from Petchburi Road, Ploeenchit Road by shortcut in Soi Somkid and BTS Chidlom, 250 meters to the residence, located in the bustling city’s central business district.
A new sale of 28 Chidlom through the upcoming event in mid-November is a great opportunity to pay only a 5 percent down payment, based on the total value of the apartment. The whole project is developed by SC Asset Corporation Public Company Limited, a Thai developer. It was started in 2016 aiming to be completed in May 2020.
According to Ma Hnin Ei Lwin, Country Director of SQFT Global Properties, a buyer has to pay an initial 5 percent as a down payment, after six months another payment of 5 percent is due, then after one year a final payment of 5 percent is required. The remaining 85 percent will be due after completion of the project. The condominium is strategically located on 52,700 square feet on Chidlon Road, Bangkok’s Business Central District. Buying apartments on this project is lucrative investment for Myanmar buyers.
Krittiya Chalermpong, Head of Marketing of the developer company said, “28 Chidlom project includes two buildings, the tower and the villa apartments of the tower are sold out. Apartments from the villa will be sold to Myanmar buyers.” The villa has 20 stories and 128 apartments, the price for each apartment will start from $400,000 based on the number of bedrooms and living space.
According to Thailand property ownership law, foreigners can make up 49 percent of the building, more than 20 apartments are already sold to people from Singapore and Hong Kong, 20 apartments of the villa will be showcased in the expo for Myanmar buyers.
“$400,000 is the cheapest price in Bangkok’s central business district. I believe that Myanmar buyers would like to buy our apartments which are in an excellent location,” Chalermpong added.
This is the third project that SQFT brought to Myanmar, after its first condominium project Whizdom Connect Sukhumvit in July, and a second project MUNIQ condominium in August of this year.
