Mytel announced that they have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with FastGo, a Vietnamese ride hailing app at the end of December. Mytel will be providing 2G/4G mobile services for FastGo drivers and customers in Myanmar market and the Mytel e-wallet service as a payment platform.
The collaboration will provide FastGo drivers with several benefits by employing E-wallet integration – eliminating trips to banks to deposit or withdraw money and being able to use Mytel’s Point of Sales locations when the do need deposit or withdraw money.
U Zaw Min Oo, Chief External Relations Officer of Mytel said at the MOU signing that: “We are thrilled to announce that Mytel and FastGo has collaborated and signed the Memorandum of Understanding. Mytel and FastGo will cooperate fully with each other to promote both companies’ strength in each sector and their market development in Myanmar. Mytel will make sure that the services FastGo offers will not only be beneficial for the drivers, but also to customers as well. We also have plans to cooperate with FastGo on express services and marketing campaigns soon.”
FastGo allows customers to visit Mytel to recharge their FastGo account to get bonuses from both Mytel and FastGo, and Mytel also acts as a convenient communication channel between two Parties to support and develop the users.
