Oliver Reichenstein
Founder, iA

Oliver Reichenstein was born in 1971 and learned programming as a computer kid in the early 80ies. He studied Philosophy in Basel and Paris and earned teaching informatics and rhetoric during the 90ties.

After working as interactive brand consultant for Interbrand Zintzmeyer & Lux for four years he moved to Japan in September 2003 and started from scratch. He started his own company in 2005 and quickly became famous for various articles on web typography, user experience design and the Web Trend Map.

Building a series of news sites over the last four years, iA is a main voice for what is currently discussed as "the future of news". iA runs offices in Zurich and Tokyo.
