Hank Horkoff is co-founder and CEO of Praxis Language, which provides convenient language-learning solutions combining audio podcast lessons, web/mobile study tools and speaking practice with live teachers. At Praxis Language, Hank has been responsible for corporate strategy and product development including the award-winning ChinesePod.com.

Hank Horkoff has a background in technology and entrepreneurship. When he came to Shanghai to work in 2001, language was a real challenge for him. Based on his own experiences, he wanted to look into technology to make learning language easier for adult, hence ChinesePod emerged in 2005, it is an excellent tool to teach Chinese as well as the culture. From this part of the interview, Hank reveals his thoughts on the challenges he faced to turn ChinesePod into a success.
