FEATURE INTERVIEW
Vitaly Dmitriev
Director & Founder Partner, Pikkles

Vitaly Dmitriev is a web producer working in Tokyo's fashionable Shibuya district. He entered the scene nearly a decade ago as a webmaster in 1999. Building on that experience, he quickly earned a reputation through his involvement in various projects including his work at IMJ, Japan's largest independent web design agency. His focus and dedication to his craft led him to founding pikkles.com in 2008, a multidisciplinary design agency specializing in multilingual projects across a range of mediums.

Adrian Roche and Vitaly Dmitriev have an interesting discussion about the growth of digital media industry in Japan. Vitaly shares with us his experiences of living in Japan for 14 years and what keeps him going all those time. He speaks about how does Pikkles started business in Japan as a creative agency, what kind of services do they cover and what make them a strong team to face the challenges. We also hear about the development of traditional media and digital media in Japan. Tune in to find out if Vitaly believes traditional media is going to be taken over by new media in this Japan Clicks program.
