In this part of the interview, Tom Stader will discuss both his and The Library Project’s journey over the past two years, which went from a dream to reality. Looking back his journey, Tom says that you are never alone! If you keep it simple, keep it small and keep it focused, amazing things can be accomplished in a very short period of time. Tom founded The Library Project in the Winter of 2006 by donating two libraries in Dalian, China. Since then, The Library Project has provided over 150 rural elementary schools with libraries in China, Vietnam and Pakistan. Tom Stader, with the help of countless volunteers, The Library Project staff, and dozens of corporations, are providing improved educational infrastructure to some of the most under-funded elementary schools in China.
