Rowan Burley- Principal & Founder, Koala Kids,Japan

Rowan Burley joins us today to talk about Koala Kids and English education. Being a founder of a preschool, Rowan introduces the service of his company and what is the qualification to become a teacher in his company. How did the economic influence the education industry in the past few years? How does he build trust with children and parents? Tune in to find out more.
 
He was born in Melbourne, Australia in 1970. After graduating from High school, He worked in several industries, including commercial fishing, mining, and retail sales. He came to Japan in 1999,and worked in the English Teaching industry for the next ten years, working initially for nova, then moving on to a consultant position working with major Japanese companies such as Hitachi ,Seiko, Idemitsu and chisso. Two years ago he set out to form my own company with a trusted business partner. Due to the rise in demand for childcare in Japan, they decided to try a new approach to the industry. Having raised the capital from private investors, they set up our school and are enjoying moderate success so far.
