
Paul Beckley, recently moved to Asia 18 months ago to setup a regional office for DMG World Media in Singapore, DMG organizes the ad:tech events in China, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo. In addition, this office produces the iMedia Summits which are exclusive invitation only events for senior executive from advertising Agencies and Brand Marketers. iMedia Connection Asia & China, the online content sites are published out of Singapore, providing a unique information channel for the digital marketing industry. DMG World Media has organized over 300 market-leading trade exhibitions, consumer shows and runs 45 related magazines, directories and market reports. Paul oversees the Technology Division in Asia and Australasia, responsible for the division's strategies, merger and acquisition, business development, marketing and sales.
Prior to moving to Singapore, Paul ran the ad:tech events in the US for 3 years from their headquarter in San Francisco. With over 21 years within DMG World Media, and working across a very wide range of industries, Paul believes that building a platform to bring buyers and sellers together, face to face, and seeing the results, is very exciting and rewarding. He says that, never a day is the same, in the events business.
Formally from the UK, Paul sees himself as an avid international traveler, and a pioneer builder of forums that allow businesses to interact together. Paul has traveled and worked extensively in Asia, Europe, Africa, Middle East and both North and South America. Since 2006, Paul has been leading a team of over 20 people to build international conferences and publications of ad:tech, iMedia and CIO executive summits within Asia, Australasia, China and the Middle East.
He has dragged his family, including two children (now 12 & 9), virtually around the world to be part of this amazing industry. During his free time, he enjoys tennis, bowling, golf and work.
