Masato Taketomi
President, DMG World Media, Japan

Masato Taketomi is one of Japan’s leading digital marketers and in 2009 was named Japan’s Web Person of the Year. He is a graduate of Musashi University and the MIT Sloan School of Management, Innovation, Strategy and Leadership for Japanese Managers Program.
In his role as an Integrated Brand Strategist and Communicator he has experience in working with, and launching direct marketing / digital marketing / social network marketing projects for a variety of top Japanese companies including Sony, Citizen, Meiji and NTT Communications.
Masato currently works as the President of DMG World Media, Japan and is in charge of AdTech Tokyo, one of the digital world’s leading conferences and exhibitions. In today’s Japan Click program, Masato talks about different types of events AD Tech hold worldwide, and the uniqueness of AD Tech in each country. He also revealed that Bill Gates’ speech in Tokyo back in 1995 was a great inspiration for him, he saw a bright future of digital market therefore led him to enter digital world.
