
Pepper is a local famous crop in Sichuan, the income of Qiang minority groups in the region is heavily depends on the particular spice. Linnet Kwok spoke at Spark Shanghai with an interesting topic of “How can cooking with spice save the panda?” So how does she link spice and panda? Linnet reveals her thought today and tells us how WWF reaches their mission to create a sustainable way of life for the locals. Linnet also talks about Earth Hour, a global movement to fight against climate change. She enlightens us on the mission and history of Earth Hour, and how can you get involved to make a real difference.
Linnet Kwok is the Deputy Head of Marketing at WWF China, Shanghai office, with a focus on corporate sponsorship and business engagement. Before joining WWF, she worked as an Associate Director at Hays Executive Shanghai, an executive search firm. She also held various finance controller positions in multinational companies and a start up (such as Unisys, Tyco Electronics - Raychem and Perkin Elmer) in the Silicon Valley before moving to China in early 2003. Linnet has been an active volunteer through out her professional career. She earned her undergraduate degree from U.C Berkeley and an MBA from Santa Clara University.
