Kenji Takeda is the President of SumTotal Systems Japan. The operation overlooks all sales and service aspects of SumTotal for all of Japan. This includes direct- and indirect sales through Channel Partners. Kenji has been instrumental in the reorganization of the Japan office to reflect a much more lean and focused group on its path to profitability in 2007, and anticipating high growth onwards. His deep international experience in the software and IT industry has allowed him to launch major initiatives geared towards the 3 major market segments:

1)Japan-Based Companies (JBC) looking for Talent Development solutions globally,
2)Foreign Multi National Companies (FMNC) operating in Japan, and
3) Domestic Japanese Companies (DJC).

The outstanding objective is to work towards the establishment of SumTotal as the leading Talent Development Solution provider in the Japanese market. With over 25 years of application software experience, Kenji is ready to take SumTotal Systems Japan to new heights. He has held a variety of challenging, managerial positions on the Products, Marketing, and Sales side within such leading firms as Systems Union, PeopleSoft Inc., Oracle Corp., and Toppan Moore Systems Ltd. His experience has taken him on overseas assignments including 5 years in Singapore and 2 years in the USA.
