“It’s good to take risk, it’s more important to take risk you think you can afford to lose!” Jonathan Chang joins us today to talk about some of his fascinating experiences in his career development. Mr. Chang has spent most of his career in different divisions of Areva Group in different countries in different functions. He shares with us some top strategies to navigate a career, and what has led him to a successful career. since 1995, including in a former division of Areva Group called Framatome Connector International (FCI, part of Framatome Group which became Areva) where he was involved in electronic/electrical interconnect device division in 1997 and then automotive division in 2002 before moving to T&D division in China (acquired from Alstom T&D) of Areva Group in 2006 as regional marketing manager.
 
Jonathan Chang, Marketing Director of Areva T&D China HQ in Beijing, holds an engineering degree from University of British Columbia (UBC), Vancouver, Canada and an MBA degree from ESCP EAP Paris, France.
 
Mr. Chang was appointed China Marketing Director for Areva T&D China region in 2009 responsible for all marketing related initiatives and actions. Equipped with multi-cultural background, diverse international experience and multi-lingual capabilities, Mr. Chang enjoys the dynamic pace of energy industry and power business in China through close interactions with governments, industry and academia.
