Izumi Matsumoto

Izumi D. Matsumoto was born in Tokyo, Japan and raised in New York, New Jersey, U.S.A., She studied in Tokyo, Hong Kong, and later moved to Hawaii, U.S.A. for a MA degree in "Second Language Acquisition" on a Rotary Scholarship

Izumi has experience as the Program Coordinator for the University of Hawaii, and has also been a Presenter, Trainer, and Consultant for the East West Center. She has worked with various organizations and companies on projects about intercultural business with the Japanese.

One of Izumi's accomplishments was working as the Training Manager for Louis Vuitton, LVMH Fashion Group, in Hawaii. She was also the Training Director for Japan and Hawaii zones, and a Culture Trainer in Paris. Currently she is the HR Corporate Training Manager for Louis Vuitton Japan Company, LVJ Group, Japan.
