One of the key drivers of Vietnam’s economic growth rate is it’s extremely young population. In this episode of Insight Vietnam we are joined by Ms. Hoa Mai, Research Director of The Nielsen Company Vietnam and discuss the myths about the Vietnam’s young consumers.

Hoa will take us on a journey to gain insights into the attitude, values, beliefs, aspirations and most importantly, product and brand selection of one of the key market segments in Vietnam, one that holds Vietnam’s future consumerism.

Hoa Mai has over 10 years of experience in qualitative and quantitative research and has been with Nielsen for most of her research career. She has built solid experience in categories such as FMCG, Pharmaceuticals and Financial research.

Her expertise lies in branding and advertising research and she is knowledgeable in a range of methodologies. She is the country champion of DeltaQual, a qualitative proprietary product of The Nielsen Company.

Coming behind China, India, Brazil, Germany and Poland on the list of the most attractive investment destinations, Vietnam tops the list of Southeast Asian nations, followed by Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore.
