Join Clare Cheng as she discusses the history of distilling in America, the appeal of quality imported spirits to Chinese customers, the difficulties of corporate social responsibility management in the liquor industry, moderate alcohol consumption as part of a healthy lifestyle, and the true nature of luxury- it’s not about flashing money, it’s about finding moments of pleasure- and how good quality liquor fits the bill.

Since 2001, he has been responsible for developing and communicating the industry’s key messages about responsibility, market access, heritage, and taste trends to a wide range of audiences, including public officials, media, and consumers.

Jon Pageler joined Diageo in 2002 where he has held the roles of Vice President of Corporate Relations for DC&E (Wines), Global Strategy Head for Brand Communications and currently, Senior Vice President of North American Communications and Public Policy.
