Elo Kent joined GPlus Media as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in 2006 following more than a decade of experience leading technology and business initiatives for public and private organizations around the world.

At GPlus Media, with offices in Tokyo, Shanghai and Hong Kong, Elo is responsible for growing an extensive portfolio of web products that provide job, real estate and lifestyle services throughout the Asia Pacific region.

Elo's career began with the US Federal Government, and he has worked on management and technology issues for organizations such as the Federal Emergency Management Agency, Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), the World Bank IFC, Diageo and silicon valley startups including iMotors.com and ILUMA Technologies; an IT consulting company that he initially founded in San Francisco and later expanded into Shanghai, China.

Prior to joining GPlus Media, Elo was the Global Sales Director for Softbank BroadMedia (a Helsinki based G-Cluster subsidiary, where he was responsible for the company's expanding international business; leading Sales, M&A and management activities throughout Asia, Europe, the Middle East and North America. In addition to English, Elo speaks Spanish, Japanese and Mandarin Chinese.
