David Devlin
President, SystemGo Corporation

David Devlin is the president of systemsGo, a Tokyo IT services provider with 25 staff supporting many foreign multinational companies. A graduate of the University of Western Sydney, David came to Japan in 1989 on a 'Monbusho' scholarship. He first studied Japanese at Tsukuba University then at Chiba University before working as a project manager for Shimizu Corporation. Following a four-year post as regional IT coordinator at the Australian Embassy, he worked as a freelance IT consultant until starting systemsGo in October 1998. David is also a Director of Elanex, a translation service provider based in San Francisco. David has a passion for the sea and a flair for photography. In addition to many articles on diving, he has published a photo book on the seas of Japan.
