
David Case is an experienced intellectual property licensing and litigation lawyer. He has represented clients in a number of fields including pharmaceuticals, semiconductors, electronics, computer software, multimedia/digital contents and data, publishing, consumer products and heavy manufacturing.
He also advises in the area of privacy and data protection laws. He has particular experience in drafting and negotiating intellectual property licensing agreements and technology transfers, arising out of joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions. His litigation experience includes patent infringement, trademark infringement and dilution, civil antitrust claims and royalty payment disputes.
Mr. Case joined White & Case's New York office in 1998. He was a summer clerk at Ishizawa, Ko & Sato In Tokyo, Japan in 1996. Prior to becoming a lawyer, he worked for five years in Japan consulting to U.S. and Japanese software vendors and content developers entering the Japanese and U.S. markets.
