Curtis Freeze
Founder, Prospect Asset Management, Inc.

Curtis Freeze shares with us his long prestigious career in finance industry in Japan. He talks about the services Prospect group provide and how communication and engagement an important part of Prospect’s strategy. Curtis fills us in with the background and history of real estate investment trust (REIT) sector in Japan, REIT bubble and the changes it go through. What business does Prospect have being in the REIT market, and how did they leverage the relationship with the developers and create a REIT? Curtis Freeze is founder Prospect Asset Management, Inc. He serves as Chairman of Prospect Company Limited, Tokyo, and Director of Prospect Asset Management (Channel Islands) Limited, Guernsey and Prospect Residential Advisors, Tokyo. Curtis is also the Portfolio Manager to the Prospect Asset Management's equity funds. Prior to Prospect, Curtis managed funds at DB Morgan Grenfell Asset Management Limited, and was co-manager of its best performing Japanese fund over five years. Before that Curtis was employed by Nikko Securities and Shearson Lehman in Tokyo. He earned an MBA from the University of Hawaii. A long term American resident of Japan, Curtis is fluent in Japanese.
