In today's interview, Colette Stevenson talks about the meaning of Infigo and the services Infigo provide. She shares with us the core philosophy of Infigo, the “Infigo Method”, and how do they apply the method in English language training for their clients. Drama training is a relatively new area in Japan, hence we also hear how does she utilize it effectively and allow the clients to transfer the knowledge to work place. Colette began her career as an educator almost 20 years ago. Her early experiences were as a teaching assistant for young people with learning difficulties. Her passion for education grew as she learned to incorporate drama methods within the everyday classroom. Upon graduating university, she entered into work as a freelance Drama in Education specialist. This work was very well received throughout the UK and Europe.

Colette came to Japan in 2002 with the goal to stretch and improve her skills as an educator, by looking at things from a whole new perspective, through teaching English. Her intention was to come for one year but, six years later (2008), after falling very much in love with Japan she co-founded Infigo, LLC.
