Amanda Ou joins us today to talks about different work environment in MNCs, State-owned enterprises and private firms. She shares some interesting insight and information about the different companies, ranging from cultural aspects, languages, dealing conflicts, working environments and management styles. She also gives advice to new graduate on how to taylor-make resumes for MNCs and some potential challenges working there. Amanda graduated in 2006 in Beijing and started her career in Shenzhen as a Sales Representative for a US electronics trading firm. Since then she’s been working in the semi-conductor market for two and half years, during which period she also has started up a small trading firm with two other partners and moved to Shanghai in 2007.

She began her career as a recruitment consultant with Antal International Shanghai in 2009 right in the crisis. Antal is a recruitment firm headquartered in London UK and is the leader in EMEA & Asia Executive Search & Selection. She is responsible for full-cycle/360 degree recruiting process for Antal and focusing in the Energy & Power sector.
