 Julian van den Bogaerde was appointed Regional Vice-President, China for Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts in March 2009. This appointment was in addition to his role as General Manager of Swissôtel Grand Shanghai, a position he assumed in October 2008.
 
Julian first started with the Company at Raffles Hotels & Resorts in 1999 as Vice President, Food & Beverage, later joining Swissôtel in 2003 for the pre-opening of Swissôtel Nai Lert Part, Bangkok and then moving as General Manager of Swissôtel Amsterdam. Up until joining Swissôtel Grand, Shanghai, he was based in the Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts Head Office in Zurich, Switzerland, as General Manager, either opening or supporting various properties.

Roslyn Chan, Director of Revenue & Marketing at Swissôtel Grand, Shanghai has a long and illustrious track record in hospitality industry in Asia. Prior to joining Swissôtel Grand, Shanghai, she was Area Director of Marketing for Le Meridien Sheshan and Le Royal Meridien Shanghai. Before that, she was Director of Sales & Marketing at Shanghai JC Mandarin Hotel, as well as the Radisson Plaza Xing Guo Shanghai.
 
Original from Malaysian, Roslyn started her hospitality career in 1990 at Shangri-la Beijing. She has more than 20 years of extensive sales and marketing experience in China major cities, including Beijing, Xi’an, Changchun and Shanghai.

A native of Shanghai, Ted Zhu bagan his hospitality career in 1989 . In the past 20 years, Ted has worked in five-star hotels accross Shanghai including the Portman Ritz-Calton Hotel, Pudong Shangri-La Hotel, JW Marriott Shanghai, gaining extensive operational experience.
 
Ted previously held the position of Director of Rooms at The Regent Shanghai before joining Swissôtel Grand Shanghai as Executive Assistant Manager in October 2008.
