    Australia Lures More Chinese Property Investors
     
    Since the Chinese government’s effort to stabilize the housing price, more and more Chinese real estate investor turned their eyes to Australia, particularly on the Gold Coast in Queensland.
     
    Australia’s real estate market has the highest rate of return, lowest maintenance costs and the lowest taxes. It is said that one can purchase a sea-view apartment with 2 million RMB, while in China’s Shanghai or Shenzhen it could be impossible.
     
     
     
    Dell Will Double its Investment in China up to $250b by 2020
     
    The No.2 PC brand in China-Dell will likely spend $250 billion in China over the next 10 years, doubling its investment which is $25 billion in China this year. Dell also spends to boost sales to large corporations and in smaller Chinese cities.
     
     
     
    China’s Vegetable Prices Fall for Fifth Week
     
    China’s vegetable prices have fallen for a fifth week since the beginning of November. From December 6 to 12, prices of 18 types of vegetables in 36 major cities were reduced 3.6% compared to the previous week, and reduced by 4.5% year-on-year.
     
    The price fall was largely due to the policies made by the government to encourage more and more vegetable plantings. Meanwhile, Guangxi, Hainan and Yunnan will increase the size of planting areas by 9.1%, 8.8% and 7.1% respectively.
     
     
     
    China Southern Airline Will Start Flight to New Zealand
     
    China Southern Airline will start a flight from Guangzhou to Auckland thrice a week from April 2011, Auckland Airport made the announcement in a news conference on Dec 12.
     
    China Southern Airline will take off three flights between the cities through Melbourne each week, providing 88000 more seats annually than current availability. Auckland Airport’s chief executive Simon Moutter said that it will boost trade and tourism in both countries.
     
    The service is said to be started by April 30, 2011.
     
     
     
    Bona Film Group Issues IPO on NASDAQ
     
     
    China’s Bona Film Group, the first Chinese film company to get listed on NASDAQ, issued its IPO on NASDAQ last week.
     
    Dongyu, The founder and CEO of Bona said that because of the fast development of China’s economy and film industry, Bona can stand out and enter the NASDAQ market.
     
    Bona Film Group Limited is the biggest privately owned film distributor in China, with an integrated business model encompassing film distribution, production, exhibition and talent representation.
     
    The IPO has raised nearly $100 million.
